Joe Rufa is a Brooklyn-based art director and animator with two decades of experience across design, motion, and branding — for clients ranging from scrappy independents to some of the most recognized names in entertainment, tech, and culture.

He came up through graphic design and illustration — gig posters, logos, websites, album art — before an obsession with visual storytelling pulled him sideways into motion and 3D, each discipline informing the next. Alongside the commercial work runs a lifelong art practice spanning music, filmmaking, drawing, and writing.
