About
Food52 is a next-generation cooking and home company with a monthly reach of more than 30 million people, born from a simple idea: bring cooks together from all over to exchange recipes and support each other in the kitchen.
Working with their inhouse video and design teams, our goal was to bring together their wide-range of online cooking shows, chefs and sponsored videos under one unifying system that put people and food at the front and center of the brand. By adding simple, yet characteristic motion to their clean and minimal design aesthetic, we created a recognizable identity that is both understated and playful.
The project deliverables included everything from a new logo animation, main titles, lower thirds, ingredient lists, transitions, a corner bug and an Essential Graphics package containing it all so their editors could easily use and edit the animations without ever leaving Premiere.
