A hypnotic visualizer for "Ascension," the second single from Seattle indie band Pickwick's sophomore album LoveJoys — one of my earliest forays into motion graphics.

A psychedelic fever dream built from lo-fi textures, saturated color, and relentless rhythm, the piece earned a place in the Tacoma Film Festival as well as a premiere on Under the Radar, who described it as "an adventure through VHS era graphics and color, with Pickwick's modern era blues rock strutting along with purpose."
